This is a very useful product. Although, I've tried to plug a vacuum cleaner to it, and it didn't work. It is designed for small voltage products, like your laptop, cellphone, etc.

After reading the glowing reviews for this inverter, I purchased eight of them for our field staff to charge their tablet pc's which are very lightweight and very low power consumption. These pc's were NOT used while they were plugged into the chargers. Both of the users whose went bad have hybrid vehicles and while I don't know if that has anything to do with their failure, two failures in such a short time with same circumstances seems a bit odd.

This is such a cool, compact little device. I could not wipe out the charge even when I used it over and over again. Once I get back to the US, I will be looking for a different inverter. I was looking for a replacement for my pemco watt power supply that burned out and decided to try the inverter route. The Duracell looked like a good fit with my laptop Asus SRS but it wouldnt fit.
