Purchased these placemats for my brand new wooden kitchen table. Placed them on my table and left them in place overnite. The next morning I noticed they were sticking to table. I removed the mats only to find a perminant basketweave mark on my tabletop under each mat. After some reserch found that the placemats are made of PVC which created an adverse reaction to the finish on the tabletop. Wish the manufacturer of these placemats would have included a warning, DO NOT USE ON WOOD TABLETOPS. Now I am stuck with 8 useless placemats, and worse a ruined table top!

I went out on a limb buying these with 0 reviews at the time, but the pictures looked good and price was decent so with Amazon's good customer service when a problem arises, I figured I'd give these a shot. I expected more of a suede look based on the pictures, but they are actually a more leather/vinyl slightly glossy style. The quality is nice and they lay perfectly flat (no weird curling or anything). They look great and when I asked someone how much they think I paid for the set of 4, they guessed $25-$35. So the $23 I paid while on sale seems like a darn good deal. I'm so happy with them in fact I'm going to buy another set soon. Definitely recommended for modern and contemporary homes!

2 diferent textures and colors of faux leather with a nice finish. A Comfortable size. The backside has also leather in a similar color. Easy to wash.
